Nick Lettin has worked in some facet of the construction industry since high school and knowing he wanted a career in construction, he attended Colorado State University and received a bachelor degree in Construction Management in 2006. After graduation, he worked for a large commercial mechanical contractor in Denver Colorado. The mechanical projects he was involved with ranged from Medical Office Buildings (MOB’s), to fountains, to LEED Platinum High-rise Offices. While there, Nick’s responsibilities included subcontractor management, buy out, LEED documentation, billing preparation, and budget analysis.
Nick relocated back to Portland in 2010 where he signed on with an international EPC (Engineer, Procure, Construct) Firm. He held a variety of positions within this company including Estimator, Project Manager, and Superintendent. During his involvement in the pre-construction side of projects, he helped clients with conceptual estimates, budget estimates and feasibility studies. Some of the project types included Solar Installations, Carbon Fiber Facilities, Lithium Ion Battery Manufacturing, Food and Beverage Production, and Waste Recycling Facilities. Project locations were spread throughout the United States and primarily involved international clients. During his travel he has been able to develop his management practices and adapt to a wide variety of jurisdictions, owners, and contractors.
Now, as part of the NWM team, Nick performs monthly draw inspections, conceptual estimating and project cost reviews for clients throughout the Northwest.
